The architecture

The architecture of Lena Dolomites, designed by the award-winning Andreas Gruber Architekten AGA, is a successful fusion of alpine charm and contemporary design that blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape and building culture.

The hillside location of Lena Dolomites is cleverly utilized, as each floor is independently accessible. As a result, the building offers independent use of each floor and a seamless connection to the surroundings.

The mineral perforated façades, which are reminiscent of the traditional construction methods of the region, give the building a rustic yet modern character. Inspired by rural models, these façades blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings and create a connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

A contemporary interpretation of the Söller in the form of terraces offers residents spacious outdoor areas with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain and natural landscape. These terraces invite you to linger and relax and at the same time offer a connection to nature.

Natural materials such as wood and stone characterize the appearance of the building and create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious rooms are characterized by simple and minimalist architecture that focuses on the essentials and creates a pleasant living atmosphere.

The A-Nature classification testifies to a special energy standard and an energy-conscious use of building materials. This reflects the architect’s commitment to sustainability and environmental protection and contributes to the fact that Lena Dolomites is not only architecturally impressive, but also ecologically sustainable. The building is heated by a heat pump whose electricity is generated by a PV system on the roof of the building.

Overall, the architecture of Lena Dolomites is a successful synthesis of tradition and modernity, which is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also meets the highest standards of comfort, sustainability and integration into the landscape.
